Race Course also known as Jillani Park gives exceptional services every year arranging spring festival in Lahore celebrated with great happiness throughout the city. It portrays a soft image of Pakistan. The event sponsors viewed this as an opportunity to provide healthy entertainment. The government can only do so much. Children are the glitter and real spark of the event. The festival is the invitation to the rural folks to relish.This Publication signifies Rang-e-Lahore, spring festival held at Jillani Park Lahore. The blog covers all the activities started from 22^nd Febraury-28^th March which includes Dog show, Food and Craft festival, Mural Painting, Tree Plantation in the memory of Peshawar victims, Bahar Mushaira, Children literacy festival and exclusive rose show. It vehemently depicts the culture of Lahore city.

As many as handicrafts, traditional clothing, astrologey, food and books stalls were set up. The food served included chicken sajji, qatlamma, andarassa, pathuray, gol gappay, paan, chicken and mutton karahi, chappal kebab and sarson ka saag and makkai ki roti. Camel rides, buggy and horseback rides were also arranged. At day time attendance is bit low but the crowd thickens after 6pm.

Ø  Briefly describe about the spring festival race course Lahore?

Every year, PHA and government of Punjab organized “Jashan-e-Bahara” festival in Lahore sponsored by Pepsi. It is celebrated every year in March. Different kind of stalls set up by common people and hired by PHA. This festival inaugurated by MNA Hamza Shehbaz Sharif.

Ø  What is the role of PHA in Lahore?

Pakistan Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore organized different events like Jashan-e-Bahara and play vital role in looking after plantation and greenery of the city.

Ø  What are the timings of the festival?

The timings of the festival are 3:00pm-11:00pm. Attendance is bit low at day but crowd thickens after 6pm.

          Pakistan Horticulture Authority (PHA) plays a vital role in arranging cultural events in different areas of Pakistan. Lahore city enjoys unique position in arranging many events and exhibitions.

           Every year Jillani Park known as Race Course Park arranges spring festival which gives a great platform to craftsmanship that shows up their talent. PHA hired labors and other workers to execute the plan of the festival. Workers come from far areas to set up huge variety of stalls to entertain the urban people. It is an imitation to rural people as well to relish. It gives soft image of Pakistan. People entertain themselves by leaving their hard routines.
